FAQ
Everything you need to know about Cloudbud’s cloud hosting services.
A Cloud VPS (Virtual Private Server) is a virtualized server with dedicated resources, running on a cloud infrastructure. It offers High Availability Failover for automatic recovery from failures and Multi-Availability Zone deployment for enhanced uptime and reliability. This ensures scalability, security, and performance beyond traditional VPS hosting.
No, vCPU performance can vary. This is because the underlying physical CPUs differ, leading to variations in performance.
Our Public Cloud (Gen1) is based on EPYC Genoa 9554 CPUs, ECC RAM, U.2 NVMe, and SSD storage with triple replication architecture, along with dual 100-Gigabit NICs for redundancy.
All our cloud servers are powered by KVM virtualization. This means that resources are dedicated to your virtual server.
We have templates for Ubuntu, Debian, CentOS, AlmaLinux and Windows Server 2022. If you do need a custom ISO, please open a ticket and we can mount it free of charge.
Yes, we do offer a BGP session towards your cloud server. Please contact sales@cloudbud.com
You can upgrade your plan, but you cannot downgrade it. To upgrade, please open a ticket. The inability to downgrade is due to limitations in resizing KVM disks.
